He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rose Walker and John Poirier; his spouse Mary-Jean Poirier (Lauzon); his siblings, Adele Gauthier, Marie Bazinet, Gabrielle Watters, Rebecca Russell, Johnny Poirier and Gail Primeau; his daughters, Penny Poirier, Lena Wicks Shannon Poirier (Poirier) and Karen Primeau (Poirier); his nieces and nephews, Angele, Sylvain, Nancy, Stacey, Karrey, Jacob, Gilbert, Shyanne, Darcy, Mark, Reggie, Chantal and Scott; and his grandchildren, Brittany, Dakota, Destiny, Ricky, Kori, Kayl, Dustyn and Haydn.
