He is survived by: his wife Diana Poirier; his children, Jean-Guy (Julie) and Jennifer Daros (Chris); his grandchildren, Zachary, Wesley Poirier, Ethan and Aidan Daros; and his siblings, Denis (Joan), Leonel (Edna), Guillaume (France), Jean-Louis (Linda), René (Kathleen), Gerald (Janet), Léo-Paul (Sharon), Denise Sanyaolu (Akinola), Yves (Nathalie) and Yvon.
