He was predeceased by: his parents, Henri Lapointe and Madeleine Lapointe. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Lapointe; his children, Jacin Lapointe (Julie Brunet), Emmanuel "Manny" Lapointe (Sarah Laprade) and Natasha Lapointe (Steffan Loupelle); his grandchildren, Jakob, Trystan, Elise, Eveline and Emily; and his sisters, Diane (Glen), Rachelle (Ron) and Colette (Hubert).
