He was predeceased by: his son David Robinson; his parents, John Robinson and Alice Robinson; and his siblings, Norma, Lorna, Janet, Rita, Raymond, Scotty, Clifford, Allen, Gerald and Maurice.

He is survived by: his wife Iva Blair-Robinson; his children, Jimmy Robinson of Cornwall, Eric Blair (Lorna) of London, Ont, Laurie Robinson (Larry) of Cornwall, Steven Blair (Shirley) of Cornwall, Katharyn Kelly (Stevan) of Cornwall and Debbie Holmes (Gord) of Lunenburg; and his sister Bernice Popelyak (Leslie) of Mississauga.
