He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila Maheu; his son Paul Maheu; his parents, Moise Maheu and Aldina; his siblings, Lucien Maheu (late Jeannette) and Aline Paquette (Rheal) of Cornwall; and his nephew Robert Delorme.

He is survived by: his children, Beverley Maheu of Cornwall and Cindy Rivard (Richard) of Cornwall; his grandchildren, Jordan Maheu, Jessie Lague, Mercedes Lague, Tyson Dufresne and Ian Maheu; his sister Denise Delorme (Leo) of Cornwall; and his friend Marcel Sabourin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cornwall Hospice or Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
