He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander and Florence; and his siblings, Archie McLellan, Jim McLellan (Barbara), Margie Hession (late Bill) and Ileen Kennedy (Frank).

He is survived by: his wife Louise; his children, Susan Sampson (Cortney), Monica Salt (Doug) and Matthew (Andy Brouwer); his grandchildren, Thomas, Jake Salt and Jordan Sampson; his siblings, Isobel McLellan, Bob McLellan (Elaine), John McLellan (Judy), Ann Serdula (late Ken), Deep River, Paul McLellan (late Colleen) and Long Sault; his siblings-in-law, Don Snetsinger (Marie), Norwood, Kent Snetsinger (Carolyn) and Kathleen Yang (Phil); and his friend Peter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Carefor Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
