He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Bissonnette and Alida Bissonnette; and his siblings, Henri, Albert, André, Emile, Thérèse Campeau, Cecile and Marie Bissonnette.

He is survived by: his friend Julie Touchette; his children, Pierre (Sylvie), Lynn Bissonnette, Josée Bissonnette, Stephane Bissonnette-Touchette and Debbie Berniquer; and his sister Rose Bissonnette. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
