He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Clarence and Ella Elizabeth McKendry (Shepherd); his daughter Sally Willa McKendry; and his sister Sally Elizabeth McKendry. He is survived by: his sister Lorna McKendry; his son Bruce (Pat Mckendry); and his friends, Damon Roberts, Frank Hondt, Bud, Ava Thompson, Walter, Reg Schwager, Kate Roach and Bill "Penner" MacKay.
