She was predeceased by: her spouse Everard Thompson Johnston; her sister Connie Harris (late Harold); and her parents, James Edward Tinkess and Mary Evelyn Tinkess. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Jodoin (Jacques Leclair), Tracey Chaussi (Pete) and Tim Johnston (Rachael Lalonde); her grandchildren, Michelle Piquette (Steph), Elise Jodoin, Hillary, Liam Chaussi, Sierra and Emily Johnston; her great grandchild Kain Lafontaine; and her siblings, Lois McCartney (Eric), Ronald Tinkess (Pat), Perry Tinkess (Carolyn) and Penny McNaughton (Dan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.
