It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neil Christopher McBain (Cornwall, Ontario), who passed away on September 23, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander and Kathleen; his siblings, Gail Kelly, Ranald "Dan" McBain, Alexander "Skip" McBain, Joseph McBain and Allan McBain; his granddaughter Angel Simon; and his parents-in-law, Albert and Marie-Berthe Giroux.

He is survived by: his wife Diane; his daughters, Linda McBain, Judy Simon (Neal) and Melissa McBain; his siblings, Finlay McBain (Kathy), Kathie McBain-Wills and Student (Farm); his godchildren, Gas and Stock; his grandchildren, Self and Custodial; his great grandchild Maintenance; and his friend Neil.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.
