She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Leo Roy Jr. and Jennie Roy; her grandchildren, Owen (Sophie), Ethan (Jodie), Cloe (Jacob), Leelyn, Sheena, Alexis and Skylit; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Colton and Francis; her parents, Sherwin Marsolais (Gates) and Francis Marsolais; her siblings, Terry Waldrif (Robert), Tammy Marsolais, Heather Marsolais, Vicky Boltz (Robert) and Harry Marsolais (Tara); her great-niece Astrida; and her nephew Adam. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
