Mercedes Smoke-Bush Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mercedes Smoke-Bush (Cornwall, Ontario), who passed away on November 10, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Mercedes is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mercedes' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Smoke and Rita Favreau; and her siblings, Peter Smoke Jr. (Vanessa) and Reva Kelly (late Edward). She is survived by: her children, Leo Bush Jr. and Ann Bush (Kirby Watson); her grandchildren, Kirby, Raiden and Theresa; and her pet Lil. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Memorial Donations to the Akwesasne Mohawk Ambulance or to the Akwesasne Mohawk Board of Education Food Service Program would be greatly appreciated by the family.
