It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mathieu Gilbert Forget (Cornwall, Ontario), who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Gerald Forget and Marielle Patenaude (Richard); his brothers, Martin (Erin) and Marc (Allison); his nieces and nephews, Marissa Jane, Lucienna "Lucie", Sebastian, Lucien and Harper; and his close friends, Kelly and Caroline. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

“My sincerest condolences! Mathieu was a beautiful gentle soul. I am devastated and completely shocked that he left us so soon. I am so sorry for the great loss of someone so dear. I knew him as my fellow student at St. Lawrence College in the Environmental tech program. We graduated in 2008. I will miss him dearly. He did make people smile! I loved his very authentic sweet personality. He tried so hard to do his best! He really cared! Nancy Hildebrand”
