He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfrid Guindon and Georgette Boisvenue; and his sister Suzanne Lafave (Arthur). He is survived by: his wife Dianna Guindon (Née Lefebvre); his children, Marc (Anna Marie Cooney), Joël and Michael Guindon (Shelley); his grandchildren, Isabelle, Alexandre, Mélanie, Nicholas and Natasha; and his sisters, Gisèle Guindon and Ginette Guindon (Armand Labelle).
