He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannette Lemire (Fortier); his parents, Florian Lemire and Gratia Lemire (Martel); and his siblings, Herbie Lemire and Claudette Bresolin (Felice).

He is survived by: his children, Micheline Street (Brett), Julie Lemire (Erin) and Daniel Lemire (Isabelle); his grandchildren, Alexann, Amanda, Matthew and Stephanie Beauvais; and his siblings, Jean-Paul Lemire (Anne), Gerry Lemire (Darquise), Leonard Lemire (Pauline), Bernie Lemire (Jessie) and Paulette O'Reilly (Gene). He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
