She was predeceased by: her spouse Ranald James Merpaw; her parents, Elburn Lashway and Margaret Lashway; and her sisters, Rita and Jean Lashway.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday October 18, 2019 in St. Andrews Cemetery at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to St. Josephs Continuing Care Center would be appreciated by the family.
