He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Hamilton; his parents, Albert Lalonde and Irene Lalonde; and his siblings, Maurice (late Rose), Armand, Andre, Maria Liolios (Steve), Marie-Jeanne Lalonde and Armande.

He is survived by: his sons, Norman Lalonde and Paul Lalonde (Sylvie Bissonnette); his grandchildren, Ellen, Allie, Alex, Paul, Justin and Courtney; and his siblings, Paul-Emile (Ghislain), Leo (late Virginia), Noela Derouchie (late Percy), Rejean and Linda Thauvette (Kenny). He is also survived by seven great- grandchildren.
