Lorraine (Longtin) Mitchell Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday May 18, 2023, at the age of 76.

Loving and devoted wife of Densil Mitchell and adored mother of Nicole (Murray) Hope, David Mitchell and Mark Mitchell (Tracy Wheeler).

Treasured grandmother of Mikayla and Mikylie Mitchell and Matthew Hope (Katie).

Lorraine will be deeply missed by her brothers, Andre (late Marguerite), Paul (Joyce), Marcel (Sharon), Gerald (late Claire) and Michel (late Marlene).

She will be dearly missed by her cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family along with her many friends.

Predeceased by her parents Raymond and Florence (née Lafleche) Longtin.

Family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, 20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall, ON. (613) 932-8482 on Monday, May 29, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public services at this time.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
