He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Hill and Gisèle Hill; his brother Normand Hill; and his stepchildren, Claude Séguin (Lucille) and Shirley Godard (late Jean Godard).

He is survived by: his wife Marie-Claire Séguin Hill; his stepchildren, Roland Séguin (Anne), Lynn Legault (late Norman), Richard Séguin (Brenda), Bruce Séguin (Joanne), Lyse Chenier (Pierre), Marie-Claire Roy (Clermont) and Maurice Séguin (Suzanne); his sister Nicole Hill (Olivier); his niece Diane Plante (Marc); his nephew Richard Plante (Denise); his grandchildren, Stéphane, Lianne, Gilles, Mélanie, Patrick, Michelle, Zacharie, Raymond, Raynald, Rachelle, Michel, Sylvie, Richard, Alain (late Ti-Jean), Joanne, Chantal and Julie; and his great grandchildren, Kloé, Kali, Audrey, Xavier and Myles.
