He was predeceased by: his siblings, Pauline Anderson (late Jim), Georgina Desnoyer (Raoul), Louis Lalonde, Alexsina (Rene) and Geraldine Delorme (late Paul); and his parents, John Lalonde and Bernadette Lalonde.

He is survived by: his spouse Jean Lalonde; his children, Rachel Lalonde (Tim Johnston) and Jefferey Lalonde (Melissa Bennet); his grandchildren, Logan, Hailie and Aiden; and his siblings, Pearl Whitford (late Earl), Eva Renwick (late Roy), Anita Jodoin (Morley), Earl Lalonde (late Isobelle) and Roger Lalonde (Shirley).
