It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kira Contessa Garnett (Cornwall, Ontario), who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Kira may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Roy and Grace Linden. She is survived by: her parents, Nancy Garnett and Cecil Marsolais; her siblings, Justin Garnett and Pam Marsolais (Dave); her grandparents, Mike and Judy Ribo; and her close friend Karen Wattie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (822 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J3S2). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Cornwall Hospice or Muscular Dystrophy Canada would be appreciated by the family.
