He was predeceased by: his child Jennifer Ivany; his siblings, Melinda Mae and Tina Ivany (Andre); and also Alyce Marie Ivany. He is survived by: his spouse Susan Merriman; his children, Joseph Ivany, Joyce Ivany, Jason Ivany, Eric Armstrong, Dennis Armstrong, Sean Armstrong (Leanne) and Laura Armstrong; and his siblings, Melinda Johnson (Thomas), Robert Ivany, Beatrice C. Thompson (Robert) and Todd Ivany (Carol).
