It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Karen Menzies in Cornwall, Ontario, born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away at the age of 64, on December 8, 2024. Though Karen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Karen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma and Ronald. She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Collins (Ali) and Brandon Menzies (Shantel); her granddaughter Flora; her brothers, Don Ryner (Francis) and Rick Ryner (Brenda); her nieces, Shauna (Hayden) and Cassie; and her nephew Chris.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (822 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J3S2).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Agapé Centre in Cornwall to honor Karen's commitment to her community.
