Karen Tammy Dunbar Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2025, at the age of 50, Karen Tammy Dunbar (Cornwall, Ontario), born in Magog, Québec passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Terrance Hopps. She is survived by: her husband Murray Dunbar of Finch; her children, Jacob and Katelyn; her mother Denise Hopps (Frechette) of Magog, QC; her sisters, Christine Hopps of France, Linda Morgan (William) of Gander, NL and Tina Ferrarotti (Terrence) of Harwinton, CT; her in-laws, John, Christena Dunbar of Finch, Lorie (Derrick) and Nancy (Gilles) of Ottawa; her nephews, Terrance (Sheray), Justin (Anna) and Patrick; and her niece Marie.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (822 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J3S2). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's-Knox Presbyterian Church (28 Front St, Finch, ON K0C1K0).
The family would like to thank the many people who supported Karen, and invites donations be made to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital in honour of Karen's memory, to support services for those affected by cancer.
