She was predeceased by: her daughter Nada Basar (Ivan) of Orleans; her parents, Alojz and Julijana; and her siblings, Alojz Lekan, Cveta Štih of Slovenia, Albina Umek of Slovenia and Veronika Sirnik of Slovenia.

She is survived by: her children, Dana Fisk (Bob) of Cornwall, Ana Curran (Rob) of Cornwall and David Herjavec (Lisa Turgeon) of Cornwall; her grandchildren, Shawn (Allison), Andrew (Michelle), Michael (Marie), Jennifer (Travis), Ankiça and Nikola; her great grandchildren, Sunna, Isabelle, Alexandra, Kassandra, Nicholas, Emilie, Ryker, Aria, Evelynn, Raelynn and Tyler; and her siblings, Slaviça Domjanïc (Franc) and Jelka Sadar of Slovenia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
