She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley Smith; her parents, Denzil Beckstead and Catherine Beckstead; and her siblings, Dean and Jean Beaudry (Raymond).
She is survived by: her son Brian Smith (Jane); her granddaughter Emma Halliday-Smith; her brother Dale Beckstead (Sandra); and her close friend Robert Lathe.
