He was predeceased by: his daughter Judy (Mike). He is survived by: his wife Elspeth; his children, Carol (Rick), John (Kim), Tom and Michael; his former wife Ann Kroon; and also, Robert (Cathy) and Deborah. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Carefor Cornwall Hospice.
