He was predeceased by: his spouse April Lafave (Plumadore); his child Anson; his parents, Earl Lafave and Susan Lafave (Sauve); his brother David Lafave (Penny); and also Marlene Thomas (Pete).
He is survived by: his children, Randy (Shelley), Johnny, Lisha, Trudy and Robbie (Angela); and his siblings, Jo-Ann Shorey (Phil), Audrey Russell (Bill) and Earl Lafave (Mary). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
