He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dr. Margaret Haf Macaulay; his children, William Macaulay (Susan Meyer) of Toronto, Mary Macaulay of Tatamagouche, N. S, Dr. Robert Macaulay (Cynthia Guzner) of Tampa Florida and Frances Macaulay of Cornwall; his grandchildren, Dr. Colin Meyer-Macaulay (Jillian Walsh), Rowan Meyer-Macaulay (Jeff), Iain Meyer-Macaulay (Marisa Samek), Owain Meyer-Macaulay (Lacy Atalick), Dr. Aled Iaboni (Diana Wong), Dr. Douglas Iaboni (Victoria), Hershel Macaulay (Shoshana Vasserman), Ethan Macaulay (Kira Misiewicz), Dr. Casper Macaulay (Jordin Fletcher), Dianne-Katherine Payette (Bill Howard), John L. Payette (Tanis McMahon), Andrew Payette and Megan Payette; and his great grandchildren, Madeleine, Bryn, Arwen, Garian, Darius and Amitai.
