With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Sorbie (Cornwall, Ontario), who passed away on April 14, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roberts Hanley and Ruby Hanley (Dewar); and her siblings, Alexander, Robert and Mary Burke.
She is survived by: her spouse Wayne Sorbie; her children, Mark Desnoyers (Sue) of Long Sault, Tammy Cook (Mike) of Long Sault, Karrie Sweeney (Doug) of Cornwall and Jeffrey Sorbie (Fanny) of Stittsville; her siblings, Anne Hanley of Kanata and Peter Hanley of Seabright; her grandchildren, Nathan, Jordan, Brandan, Ashley, Drew and Stacie; and her great grandchildren, Brennan, Charlotte, Hawley, Mayzie, Penelope, Jackson and Aubrey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
