He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Diabo and Charlotte Diabo (Mitchell); and his siblings, Marjorie Lazore, Mary Johnson, Elizabeth Mayo, Marcia Rowley and Kenneth Diabo.
He is survived by: his children, Ashley Diabo of Syracuse, N. Y. and Hunter Casey of Akwesasne; and his siblings, James Diabo, Norman Diabo (Gabby), Alfonse Xldombeele, Marlene Logan and Jean Jacobs (Louie John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Akwesasne Freedom School, 31 Village Road, Akwesasne, N.Y., 13655 would be appreciated by the family in memory of all Residential School Survivors.
