Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jeannette Mary Lucas (Cornwall, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 93, on March 25, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Armand Raymond and Winnie Raymond; her sister Gisele Perras; and her former husband George Lucas. She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Montgomery (Terry) and Marlene Loker (Alex); her grandchildren, Jason (Lisa) and Gayle (Craig); her great grandchildren, Cala, Landon, Philip, Dirk, Milo, Brandon and Heather (Johnathan); her great great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Oliva, William, Gwendolyn, Matthew and Lucia; and her sister Therese Panter (George).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes (20 Seventh St W, Cornwall, ON K6J 2X7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Ontario SPCA Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Animal Centre, 550 Boundary Rd., Cornwall, ON K6H 6J5 would be appreciated by the family.
