He was predeceased by: his son Donald Lapierre; his stepchildren, Dale Grant and Dean Grant; his sister Pauline Brisson (late Rene) of California; his parents, Donald James "Dan" Lapierre and Cecile Lapierre; and his siblings, Margaret Werely, Maurice, Jacques and Edmour Lapierre.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Lapierre; his daughter Joanne Lapierre Ruest (Rheal) of Cornwall; his stepdaughter Donna Grant of Metcalfe; his grandchildren, Monique, Chantal, Annyssa and Chanelle; his stepgrandchildren, Jacy and Charlie; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Rhys and Kynlee; his stepgreat-grandchild Parker; and his siblings, George Lapierre (late Christina) of Summerstown and Pierrette MacDonald (Ken) of Cornwall.
