He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sabourin and Laurette Sabourin; and his brother Raymond Sabourin (late Jeannette). He is survived by: his wife Réjeanne Sabourin; his daughters, Michelle Sabourin, Chantal Sabourin (Jean-François Myre) and Martine Sabourin (Yves Dionne); and his grandchildren, Christopher Champagne, Alex Dionne, Annabelle Dionne and Tavish Champagne.
Memorial donations may be made in Jean-François name to Cornwall Hospice as well as Above the Rim Basketball School in honour of his passion for sports and coaching.
