He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie Wilson; his son Eric Wilson; his parents, Harry Wilson and Victoria Wilson; his siblings, Robert, Ken Wilson and Grace Brown; and his grandson James Bruce.

He is survived by: his son Craig Wilson; his sister Muriel Brand; and his great grandchild Savanna.
