James Montour Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Montour (Cornwall, Ontario), who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Homemaker Centre (1126 River Rd, Akwesasne Reserve No. 15, QC H0M1A1). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
