He was predeceased by: his parents, William MacGillivray and Elizabeth MacGillivray; and his siblings, Alex MacGillivray (late Elsie), Margaret Crawford (late Ed), Harriet Murphy (late Joseph), Helen Blahut (late Alex), Robert MacGillivray, Jean Butters (late Alan), William Cameron and Eleanor Parsons (late George).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughters, Marilyn Keddy (Cameron) and Maureen MacGillivray; his granddaughter Caroline Doroshenko (Marek); and his great grandchild Jasper Matteo Doroshenko.
