He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn King (Groves); his daughter Nancy King; his parents, William King and Jennie May King (Thauvette); and his brothers, John and Ernest.

He is survived by: his children, Diane Breed (Bernie), Jim King (Georgina), Susanne King, Richard King (Faye), Jack King (Barbara) and Lisa King; his grandchildren, Arnold, Troy, Chelsea, Jeremy, Tera and Russell; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Cameron, Ethan and Miles. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 297 would be appreciated by the family.
