He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Lavigne (Bard); his children, Marc Cherished (Dorice) and Lynn Lavigne Cherished; his grandchildren, Alexa, Joel, Meghan and Rachel; and his siblings, Gerard, Germaine (late Hector), Robert and Simone (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
