He was predeceased by: his parents, Lesley Salmon and Hilda Salmon; and his brother Barry (Mary). He is survived by: his spouse Gail Salmon; his children, Glenn (Dawn), Jeffrey (Karen) and Lisa Salmon; his grandchildren, Nick, Tyler, Riley, Sienna, Lincoln, Lawson and Liem; and his sister Jillian Thornton (Paul).
