He was predeceased by: his former wife Linda Burke; his daughter Jennifer Schiller; his stepdaughter Rachel Martin; his parents, Karl Schiller and Martha Schiller; and his brothers, Karl and Dieter Schiller.

He is survived by: his son Christopher Schiller (Karen); his close friend Helen Martin; his grandchildren, Brianna, Devon, Davis, Aidan, Isabel, Charles, Everett, Carson, Marika and Lindsay; his sister Hannelore Dolan (late Keith); and also Eric Martin (Jennifer).

Memorial Donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
