She was predeceased by: her husband Ford McGillis; her siblings, John, George, Lawrence, Owen, Monica McPhee, Louise Clark, Isabelle Cayer and Marion Purcell; and her parents, George Purcell and Hortense Purcell.

She is survived by: her sons, Greg, Steve and Randy McGillis; her grandchildren, Bronte, Ryan, Chelsea and Alyssa; and her sister Martha Heward.
