She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Henry and Evva Ada Hessel. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Cookson (Lori Viens) and Lynda Maureen Cookson; her grandchildren, David Wettlauffer (Ashley), Will Cookson, Giselle Fiona Lute, Sarah Chiovitti (Andrew), Megan Chiovitti (Paige) and Samantha Emberly; and her great grandchildren, Sadie and Eli.
