He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his son Borby Marquis-Kanawake; his grandchildren, Bret, Mason, Tyler, Thomas, Rarihwenhawi and Sapphire; his great grandchildren, Emerald and Sage; his brothers, Carl White (Carol) of St. Regis, Nelson White (Rose Marie) and Robert White (Elaine) of Cornwall Island; his uncles, Walter Benedict of Hogansburg and Peter Mitchell of Snye; and his aunt Doris Kelly of San Francisco.
