He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfrid Caron and Amelia Caron; and his siblings, Maurice Caron (Barbara), Lionel Caron (Murielle), Roger Caron, Romeo Caron (Patsy) and Fleurette Gerow (Earl).

He is survived by: his spouse Françoise "Fran" Caron; his children, Carmen Fortier (Claude), Don Caron (Cheryl) and Bernie Caron; his grandson Curtis; and his siblings, Edgar Caron (late Jacqueline), Rolland Caron (Rose), Jeannine Bergeron (Floyd) and Réjeanne Perreault (late Rhéal). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
