He was predeceased by: his parents, William Montgomery and Sara Montgomery (McDiarmid); and his sister Hilda. He is survived by: his wife Helen Montgomery (Tyo); his children, Craig Montgomery (Chie) of Japan and Karen McManus (Jamie) of Monkland; his stepchildren, Steven Dufresne of Cornwall, Donna Height (David) of Cornwall and Roger 'Wally' Dufresne of Cornwall; and his siblings, Doris Willard of Cornwall, Ruby Fawcett of Riceville, Shirley Jackson of Monkland and Elgin Montgomery of Toronto. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren and 3 great step-grandchildren.
