It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gilberte Jill Lafleur (Cornwall, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 88, on April 22, 2025. She was predeceased by: her close friend Joseph Aubin; her parents, Leon Phillips and Alexina Phillips; and her brother Raymond Phillips. She is survived by: her siblings, Juliette Brodeur (late Marcel), Rheal Phillips (late Denise), Claudette Chartrand (Ron), Jean-Claude Phillips (Cheryl Lowe), Rollande Martel (Andre), Jeannette Varin (Allan) and Linda Gemmell (Tom). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or to the PawPortunity Rescue, in keeping with Jill's love of cats, would be appreciated by the family.
