He is survived by: his spouse Marlies Engelmann; his children, Peter of Ingleside and Nicole (Dallyn Lewis) of Cobourg; his nephew Ricky; his brother Wolfgang (Diane); and his sister-in-law Hiede Rahn of Dortmund Germany.

Memorial donations to Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and/or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
