He was predeceased by: his parents, Henri Sr. Gagné and Ida Gagné; his siblings, Irene Marsolais (late Jack) and Henri Jr. Dear; and his sibling-in-law Real (Fleulette).

He is survived by: his wife Denise Gag; his daughter Sylvie Gagné-Kielec (Greg); his grandchildren, Tatyana and Marie-Soleil Kielec; his siblings, Simone Primeau (Gerry), Aline DeSerres (George), Roger (Liette) and Maurice (Judy); his siblings-in-law, Yves Beauchemin (Janice), Ginette Lebrun (late Jean-Claude), Rejeanne Blanchard (Richard) and Nicole Ladouceur (Alex); and his friend Tim-Hortons. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Cornwall Hospice will be accepted and appreciated by the family.
