He was predeceased by: his parents, Dimetro Stefanich and Elena Stefanich; and his siblings, Peter, Mary and Ann.

He is survived by: his children, Mark (Carmen), Mike (Paula), George Jr. (Monique), Joanne (Dale), Cathy (Raymond), Nancy (Dave) and Lynn; and his wife Pierrette Armstrong. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (822 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J3S2).
